So I purchased Moto GP for X Box on ebay for $5 US and received it Friday...
Yeah, it's a bit old (2002) and has been superceded by two additional releases, butfor me it has been a fun intro into bike racing.
So far (2 completed races in the Pro mode-the middle one) it has been a bit rough. Had it not been for errors in race 1 and 2 I probably could have scored top 6 finishes, but instead finished 12 and dead last (LOTS of crashes with opponents at Jerez).
It's difficult to get the cornering just right. Turn in, or rather lean in begins really early, and oftentimes I overshoot the apex. I've distributed my skills evenly amongst the categories (accel, cornering, top speed, and braking).
Curious if an of you with an of the Moto GP iteration use the manual brakes (seprarate front and rear) or just the single button actuation for both.
I've qualified 8th at Le Mans (previous q best was 15th) and hope to do well there. If I can sta out of everyone's way and they stay out of mine perhaps podiums will come around shortly.
