I have photos from Swedish Rally 2000.

Papadimitriou drove his Impreza 555 and not his WRC. His reg number was L 555 SRT.

Holowczyc reg number was V 100 ALL.

sorry that was the recce car. I believe that car he used was r17wrc any information on that car. It was in Uganda for some years and then wrc cars where banned on the local rallies

After selling ET55 SRT to Juan Luis cruz,Mark van Eldik also sold FT55 SRT.

The car is now owned by dutch driver John Temmink who used to drive an 05 Fabia WRC and is run by the team of Erik Wevers.

The car is completly rebuild and re-sprayed in and out.

The car made his debut on this weekend's Rally Hannut in Belgium.

It was only a very short clip but does anyone have any more information on this car, who the driver was, and what year it ran. Also, any photos would be great. Think it did a few events with Krzysztof Holowczyc in both Poland and in the WRC.

Emmanuel Katto might have used it in 2000 which could explain why it is Uganda.

Champeau sponsor on rear wing of car 3, so probably Marc Champeau. Co-driven by Gilles Thimonier so matches the 'banner' seen in the video. But think Marc ran a Subaru WRC during 1999 not 1998 as in the video title.

Thanks Pat, the sponsor's name was of course a clue, except I thought it was "Champear" rather than Champeau. I guess most of the footage was from Lyon Charbonnieres in, as you suggest, 1999. And the supporter's banner gives a big clue.
Sadly of course poor Mark is no longer with us.

In case anyone is still wondering, S90 WRT (ex-Melvyn Evans car) no longer exists. It caught fire in the Caribbean during Rally Trinidad 2010 and now is just a completely destroyed shell. However, the driver (Dean Serrao) and co-driver (Michael Worme) were not hurt.

S800 WRT was converted to RHD by Prodrive when it finished its 'works team' life and was sold into Ireland I think. Latterly it was owned by Geoff Underhill but he had a massive accident in it in Rallye Sunseeker in 2009 on the opening spectator stage. In order to get Geoff out of the car the cage was cut by the emergency services. Geoff survived with broken bones but the car was not so lucky and was eventually broken for spares as the damage was too severe to make it a viable option to repair. Most bits ended up with SubaruWRCSpares.

S600 WRT was Petters 2003 WRC Championship winning car as I am sure you will know. This too was converted to RHD but this time by Stan Harper in Ireland. The car eventually ended up with the late Tony Davies who used it with great effect on the MSA tarmac championship in the UK. Following Tonys tragic death in a road accident a couple of years ago the car was sold to David Mann who had it converted back to LHD. David used/uses it on the MSA tarmac championship and still is as far as I know.

After that I'm unsure of its history up until it was owned by E Garry and then Martin Cairns ? I understand it's currently owned by James Gillen ? and resides in Ireland ? Can anyone confirm this ?

Does anyone have ANY recent (last 5 years) pictures of the car or know when it was last used in competition ?

As far as I have recorded, this car was used by Allstars in 98 and then by Katto, Snijers and Dor in some rallies during 1999. In 2001 it was bought by Dick Wiksell in Sweden and used there by him in 2001-2003. I think it was bought from Derek McGarritty's Company.

Steve Furzeland imported the car back to the UK for me in 2008 and I sent the car to Melvyn Evans for the bodywork to be renovated and the engine to have a partial rebuild.by Graham Sweet.

I intended to hillclimb and sprint the car but never got round to it.
In 2009 I placed the car back on the market and in August of that year Prodrive bought the car off me on behalf of a Japanese client.
They stripped the car (undoing all Melvyns hard work in the process !) then painted it World Rally blue and shipped it to Japan for the client to place in his collection.

Really Pad ? One of the staff at SGM in Banbury (Prodrives' bodyshop) seemed to think that Prodrive had a shell in storage and it went out to Barbados. Perhaps we've just solved the mystery of what happened to R9 WRC . . . . . :eek:
I noticed when I peeled a sticker off the roll cage it was painted red underneath. Was R9 WRC ever painted red ?

It was fully rebuilt by Prodrive during the middle-end of 2009 before going to her new owner in ireland

hi all,

its a while ago, but R17WRC the one from uganda is now with me in Holland. It is safari spec and in very bad condition, i bought the car from prodrive in januari. (R30WRC went to japan)
T19SRT is a bodyshell without chassis number, build by MSP as i was there when it was build
chassis 023 is in the Netherlands by Joop Schouten now.

Does anyone know a S5 for sale, i am looking for one, incomplete cars, or projects are welcome (only prodrive spec)

I think Subaru Impreza S9 WRC Jesús Fernández "Tano" is the same that had Kris Meeke and chassis #4. But I don't know if it was builted by Prodrive or by other and then Prodrive get chassis number to the Subaru. I can see this photo, do you think is chassis #4??

I have just bought an S5 Impreza , it was built up using Prodrive parts a few years ago by MSP , did have the registration number T22SRT and was rallied by Mike Tomkinson , was then changed to S100WRC , all I know is its a 99 shell with 98 running gear , would there be any marking on the shell that would give me more info on the history on the shell , or would anyone know anymore about the car ?

P12 WRC was a roger duckworth car then bob ceen then russell davies
How was the car rallying in ireland James Gillen at the same time
AKA reg on two cars? .... which is the real one. The Ireland one just appeared out of the blue in 2004?

To trust a real wrc do you need a gold passport to prove.
Reg numbers seem to move around different chassis so easy?!

Some rekon 2009 p12wrc was restored and sold to ireland? surely every year when coming to to tax etc v5 registration documents would be out of date. i.e one owner would have a different document ref number. S p12wrc when coming back to england from ireland had a conflict with DVLA. The irish one has the reg and lives down south and the english one had to give it up?

Which is real or is this prodrive selling the i.d twice?
