Just wondered if anyone knows any WRC stars' proteges, like Gronholm helping Mikklesen? Marcus seems to have really helped Andreas after his 2 consecutive wins in the NRC and his 5th in Sweden WRC.
I'd like to know if Petter has one especially

Kosti Katajamaki was Gronholm's protege as well.
And before Kosti Katajamaki, Marcus was helping Juuso Pykalisto. In some interview Gronholm said that he lost a huge amount of money, but wanted to help anyway. Unfortunately with no success.
And Carlos Sainz was helping Dani Sordo at least before he got the seat from Citroen WRC team.
And many many years ago Timo Makinen was helping Juha Kankkunen. And Hannu Mikkola and Juha Kankkunen were helping Tommi Makinen. Hannu spoke a seat in Mazda for Tommi for 1000 Lakes in 1991.

Do anyone have news of him? Is he rallying yet?
Apart from that, I heard that Petter was helping to the Swedish Patrik Flodin.

All in all the coclusion is Gronholm should not quit his day job (oh wait..he already did that) to spot new talents.....

Kankkunen has been advising/helping Välimäki.
Lasse Lampi has Juho Hänninen.
I think here is good that the upcoming drivers easily get help, notes, driving, contacts and so on, economic help is then different, but thats why there is managers and sponsors.

How old is Juuso then?
Could he replace Loeb when he retires, or take Sordo's place on gravel events, especially Finland.

Juuso hasn't been with Citroen for some time now. Now he's doing some stuff for magazines and TMR.

That's true offcourse, it's nice to see also that many of our past international level and national level drivers have found jobs around the sport.
Do we need to mention Pentti :)
His latest? http://www.crash.net/motorsport/rally_uk/news/162060-0/teenager_to_profit_from_pentti.html

He is still in a well paid job, I am sure he can afford it so it won't keep me awake at night :D
