Agree - that must be a contender for photo of the year already. Absolutely fantastic shot.

Is there scope for a photo comp? 'professional' and 'fan' categories?

Thats an idea I've been thinking about. Maybe one of the non-photographers on this forum could start a thread for a photo competition inviting nominations, like you said split into 'pro' and 'am' categories.

Could we have a Pro-am category too? I'm certainly not a professional but I have had media accreditation in the past (and hopefully future!) so I don't fit in the amateur catagory either!

Just needs some direction/organisation/guidelines - suggest one entry per meeting only as we would get some people submitting all their 200+shots!

True, but Peter is a professional and I was thinking more along the lines of photography in the rain not working very well unless you've invested in waterproofing your equipment.
