A new scoring practice for THIS game (ONLY) was started this year.
1 point is awarded just for making picks, this started @ Daytona. :D
(I hated to see zero scores, so I changed the scoring procedure.)
(Also note how the points for "Crossover Picks"* are awarded.)


This game’s scoring needs tweaked just a little, for 2008 there will NO zero points scores
So for anyone that makes picks will get 1 point for making those picks
(No matter how many series are picked in, 1 point is scored)
I have also expanded the scoring to award 1 point for crossover picks*
*(Crossover Picks = Pole Pick Wins / Win Pick got Pole (in the SAME series)
(This does NOT apply if the same driver is picked for both positions)

Combining Cup Series, Nationwide Series & Truck Series in one game
Predict the Polesitter & Race Winner in EACH series
DEADLINE for submitting predictions is BEFORE Qualifying for EACH Series :
If one Series DEADLINE is missed ... the other Series may still be played.
It will depend on which ones made it BEFORE the DEADLINE(s)

PREDICTIONS POSTED AFTER QUALIFYING STARTS WON’T BE RECORDED
NO POINTS WILL BE GIVEN FOR POSTS PAST THE QUALIFYING DEADLINE
HOW THE POINTS ARE AWARDED :
Earn 2 points for CORRECTLY predicting the Polesitter
Earn 1 point if your predicted Polesitter sits on the Outside Pole
Earn 1 point if your predicted Polesitter wins the race (if NOT picked to win) *
Earn 5 points for CORRECTLY predicting the Race Winner
Earn 4 points if your predicted Race Winner finishes 2nd
Earn 3 points if your predicted Race Winner finishes 3rd
Earn 2 points if your predicted Race Winner finishes 4th
Earn 1 point if your predicted Race Winner finishes 5th
Earn 1 point if your predicted Race Winner gets the Pole (if NOT picked for the Pole) *
Earn 1 point for making picks, there will be NO zero points scores
IF your predicted Polesitter qualifies BEHIND the 1st row you get 0 points
IF your predicted Race Winner finishes OUT of the Top 5 you get 0 points
IF your none of your predicted drivers place, you still get 1 point for making picks

The maximum possible score will be 7 points for EACH series.
2 points for CORRECTLY predicting the Pole-sitter
+ 5 points for CORRECTLY predicting the Race Winner
Points earned in ALL series will be added together & this will be your weekend score
(+ 1 point for making picks no matter how many series are picked in)
(Maximum Score for 3 series in 1 weekend will be 22 points, 3 x 7 +1)
Points earned will be posted each week after the LAST race of the weekend & will be posted when calculated

Updated Total Points Standings will be also posted after the Race Points Results

If a driver doesn’t make the field, YOU CANNOT SELECT ANOTHER DRIVER
