Now then.

Get your V8, get it in Road Course trim, and come out.

Also, buy a crash helmet which has space to accomodate a very very wide grin!

Firstly, I have to thank Duane for offering me the chance to drive the 99 car today, and all of the crew - too many to mention - but I have to thank the Gasman for his hard work with race tape (more of that later on).

My own car is *still* in bits, though next week, I aim to take a re-start on getting it rebuilt.

Taking to the track I haven't been to in five years, and never in this kind of car, was a little bit nerve wracking, especially since it wasn't my car too!.

Bottom line - b****r I've not had that much fun in ages. It reminded me how much I love that circuit, what's more, anyone who doesn't enjoy driving an ASCAR on any "controlled" piece of tarmac has to be deceased from the neck upwards.

I won't mention panhard rod bolts if Gasman doesn't mention Flymo's.

I for one am really really really looking forwards to Lydden.

It's called "reducing tyre wear".

#99 Crew, chief fibre glasser, sparkie and sticker man!

And remover of grass clippings......

Cheers dude! You did a might fine job with that red tape. It made almost four seconds a lap improvement before the bolt fell out!

Yes, you could say, I WAS enjoying that until excess rear steer set in...

Not sure what the problem is, Rob. A wobbly back end never did Beyonce any harm....
