View Full Version : Silhoutte Car Racing
I just got a few questions about Silhoutte Car Racing?
1. Is DTM the only championship involving Silhoutte Cars, or is there more?
2. How fast is a DTM Silhoutte Car compared to a LMP and DP?
3. Could Silhoutte Cars compete in the Le Mans 24hrs?

1. No theres a few others, Japan's GTC for instance.
3. No, unless there was a rule change

DTM car over one lap is 1-3 seconds faster than GT1 car. DP is just a bit faster than GT2 car.

That would depend on the track, though, as DTM is more aero reliant than GT1 cars. At Le Mans I'm sure that GT1 cars would be faster.
Then what is an ST car speed compared to a GT1 Car.

NASCAR is slightly different again as all the cars are indentically shaped with just different stickers on the front and rear to try and make them resemble the different cars.

They wouldn't comply with the prototype rules which are relatively strict.
