FORMULA One's top teams have already begun working on preparations for next season, despite having run only three rounds so far of this year's world championship. Next season will feature a significant amount of changes to the technical regulations, as issued by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). And seeing the amount of work that will be needed in preparation for the next campaign, team bosses admit it is crucial to begin developing their "all-new" cars from now.

M. Schumacher to test Ferrari at Barcelona

Occasional test driver Michael Schumacher will be back at the wheel of Ferrari's formula one car as testing resumes at the Circuit de Catalunya next week.

According to reports in the Italian press, the 39-year-old German's F2008 single seater will be equipped with simulated 2009 levels of downforce and Bridgestone's latest development slick tyre.
