Starter, Dude, are you phooking serious?! I get an infraction, worth three points, for this?

"Dear Skid Marx,

You have received an infraction at AutoRacing1.com Forums.

Reason: Insulted Other Member(s)

twIRL***."

If someone's a fan of tony's worthless Imitation Racing League (twIRL), what else do you call 'em? Is twIRL fans okay? I noticed you didn't delete the term twIRL, which appeared twice in the post. Only when it had the -ers suffix affixed to it? Where's the logic to that? And show me one person who was seriously offended by that - I'll show you someone who needs to grow a set, or strap a set on!!
And please, don't threaten me with another "infraction" - especially the serious ones that NEVER EXPIRE - OOOH! It only means something if I care, something which I stopped doing oh, about Feb. 29th. I've already had more than enough of your petty moderation practices, dropping the hammer on myself and others, but holding off when it's IRLista posters (oh, is that another drity word, IRLista? Who knows? Who cares?); your biases have been made clear on repeated occasions. But like I said, I don't care. My subscription to AR1 expires as of 4/24/08 and I was not gonna renew anyway; what's the point in subscribing to a site that so quickly turned coat and started gulping down the kool-aid once the sell-out...er, buy-out took place? So, I wouldn't have been on this forum past that date anyway. So what's one month - nothing to me. Go ahead, give me all the infractions you want - ban me if it makes you feel big. Quite frankly, I don't give a Fat Rat's A**. I'm 10-7...

Although this whole thread is going away probably before I get this posted, I'd just like to say that I would be for a FORUM POLICY here that derogatory terms for series names, series ownership and especially DRIVERS be absolutely forbidden. ON BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN. If things are going to begin to heal, that crap absolutely has to stop.

It seems like most adults could get their message across without calling these items and people by juvenile names that a 6-year old would use.

If it means anything, that POLICY would certainly have my vote.
