hi all what's the feeling of the super silhouettes racing against the v8's

Some circuits I expect the few 2L Super Silhouettes that do come out to be at the front, at the "long legged" circuits where power overcomes ambition, it'll be the V8's. Don't discount the Eurocar V8's in the mix either. With reverse grids, it could be VERY interesting indeed!

It reminds me of when I raced in the Birkett 6hr race at Snetterton in 1993. I was racing a Nova GTE Super Road Saloon, and I had two noteable battles on track - one was a Boss 302 Mustang, the other Bernie Chodosh's Corvette - 427ci and 600bhp, but with period brakes (drum!). On the straight stuff, I waved "bye bye" as Bernie disappeared, but as soon as a corner loomed, I caught him up hand over fist. I was behind him for about 20 minutes, eventually I managed to nip inside him at the Esses, and that was it, I was off. 3 seconds a lap quicker!

This time, the tables will be turned. I'll be driving the big beast, and there will be plenty of skilled SS pilots, let alone Kevin Clarke in his Eurocar V8!

I see Kevin Clarke will be bringing his VSR V8 out at Snetterton, does anyone have any idea if anymore of the old V8 EUROCARS will be out at Snetterton ? I know X - Sport racing have one of Clarkes ex cars wonder if they will turn up.
