it sounds like there best of friends

http://www.crash.net/motorsport/motogp/news/160902-0/lorenzo,_pedrosa_rivalry_begins!.html

these two could be bigger rivals than biaggi and rossi all those years ago, I say imo one of the best rivalry I have ever seen in any kind of motorsport

I don't like both of them.. But if this can keep live between the races, than it's very very good I'd say!

Interesting, I guess they dont consider either Stoner or Rossi as immediate threats because one being so far ahead and the other behind in their view. It would appear their focus seems to be directed toward both mans main opposition as they see it....

Roll on Jerez I reckon it should be a cracker! The fight for poll will be very interesting indeed :s mokin:

I feel much the same. I don't like either of them, but they do add some excitement to the pack. I must say that I would not like to see one of these two take the title. I wouldn't mind seeing Toseland take it though, it would really put the Poms back on the map, but, GO CASEY :D

Here I was agreeing with you till I got to that last bit!! Go Casey!!!

You probably meant ..Go Casey... in the opposite direction , didn't you! :)

If Valentino can't win it, then Go Dovi!! ;)

Oh well, we can't agree on everything. I think you would be chuffed if Mr Rolfo was leading races in motogp. :D

My word I would!!

He has won races before, back in 2003 but they were wins!! He can do it again..

I think the point that seems to have been missed is that they are both Spanish. Rossi vs Biaggi was as much about being Italy's number 1 as being world champ, I suspect the Pedrosa - Lorenzo rivalry is a bit the same. It also helps that they don't much like each other (particularly on Dani's behalf it seems) especially as they are such different personalities. Hopefully their rivalry remains fierce but still fair and sporting.

Pity, they will both have to play second fiddle to the man from down under.

It seems that Dani is sometimes very cold and unpleasant man, even if he looks like a school kid. He is quite rude to Nicky Hayden, too.

I reckon not before Kwaka can turn that green turd they call a race bike into something worth taking a 'risk' on for Ant and Hoppa... No doubt whatsoever in my mind its the bike! You wont see Ant or Hoppa pushing it hard until Kawasaki sort out that dog :dozey:

If I was Ant I would be more than ready to jump ship when/if another ride becomes available either through injury or retirement?
That's a rubbish excuse for Ant. He was stomped on by his injured teammate and will need to pull his finger out to prove he deserves a ride in MotoGP. It's only 1 round and I think he can.
Incidentally, this is waaayyyy off topic and the is a whole thread dedicated to Ant.
I really enjoy seeing rivalries like Pedrosa and Lorenzo in MotoGP. It adds some real spice on top of the racing and now that Dani and Casey seem to get on well, a bit of dislike and fierce competition between 2 top guys always makes for an interesting sub-text. Hopefully they can at least give each other a handshake on the podium, even if it is half-assed. There still has to be some sportmanship.

"fierce, fair and sporting". I'm sure that would be their pre-race intentions anyway. :)

In the boxing ring perhaps? :)

I have to agree with NinjaMaster, we should stay relative to the thread topic. I agree that sometimes a comment will detour the topic on occasion, but we must try to keep our posts on the subject stated in the thread title. Lets not let this forum get ugly, like it sometimes does in other forums. We are all quite friendly here, and we will listen to your comments, and opinions, but lets be civil about it, and not insult beach other, or get worked up about a comment that we don't agree with. Otherwise, enjoy the forum, and enjoy a great season of racing action :D

thanks pat, I was personally thinking this rivalry (pedrosa and lorenzo) will be big such as biaggi and rossi in two/three years time.
