My aged, tatty Land Rover was due an MOT last week, so I took it along for a pre test on monday. After much rumaging and prodding underneath, it was considered safe for another year by the skin of it's teeth, and I was asked to bring it along the following day for the real test.
However, that very afternoon some gormless woman in a Mondeo tried driving through poor old Landie Boris at some traffic lights. Her car's a right off by the looks, while Boris has some blue paint on his towbar.
Imagine my shock at my battered old vehicle still passing it's test the next day :D
