It does state O/T in the title & unless everyone is going to wipe Rockingham from their memories, I don't see it worthy of any fuss!

BTW Kellner, nice pics!

Am I the only one here who dares ask the question "who is going to Rockingham for the BTCC?"

probably - what's the point of watching silly front wheel drive cars play bumper-cars with each other?

All the proper racing is at Brands Hatch: -

WTCC on the GP Circuit.

DTM on the 'Indy' Circuit.

All cars as God intended - "Steer the Front & Drive the Back"

I dunno, even Witty posts links to her 2CV photos here. I think you're all being a bit harsh on Kellner. Its good to see some action from The Rock.

I'm not being harsh on Kellner, I'm being harsh about the BTCC.

If people want to still go to the Rock to see some (almost) proper racing then go to the GT round - at least they are rear-wheel-drive :)

Not the BTCC :(

I think you may be right Jooles. Either that or the asylum, and the lunatics are starting to take it over! (se also the Seager thread)

Admittedly BTCC doesn't float my boat these days, but please bear in mind that some folks do enjoy watching the Tourers.

And as Steve points out, I've got a soft spot for the Tin Snails aka 2CVs... ;)

Fine, each to their own, I've even been known to marshal them - at the Rock of course :) ....

but, to post in this forum about them, and not expect some comment?

come on! ;)

(and don't start me on 2CV-snails :) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

BTCC - for show.

DTM - for downforce.

I shalln't be watching the BTCC at rockingham, I already have 15 events in my calender and that would be a lot more if the PUT and V8 Trophy didn't clash so much.

I'll be watching BTCC on the telly this year I think. From what I saw of last year things had got a bit more exciting so I'll give the tourers another go.
