First, Why is Alex de Angelis' flag different? Isn't Rimini in Italy?

Second, on the MotoGP.com results page (in this case for QP) the riders all have an "M" in a blue circle, or a "B" in a red circle. What does this signify?

First, Why is Alex de Angelis' flag different? Isn't Rimini in Italy?
Alex represents San Marino rather than Italy, hence the different flag.


Second, on the MotoGP.com results page (in this case for QP) the riders all have an "M" in a blue circle, or a "B" in a red circle. What does this signify?
M in the Blue Circle represents Michelin tyres, B in a red circle represents Bridgestone tyres.
