i still think unc wins it all. best acc team in the tourney and can we trust a big east team who doest have the experience of being in the final four or regional finals over years past or that kansas will leapfrog from no number one seed this year and win it again? i dont think so. my final four are..........

Although I am pulling for UNC, I don't think they have what it takes to go all the way this year. I really haven't been following that close, but I think someone like Louisville could knock them off in the later rounds....

My granddaughter has 2 tickets for the Greensboro Regional games. Her and her Dad are going to see LSU vs Butler and UNC vs Radford. Then they are giving the tickets to my wife and i and we are going to see Texas vs Minnesota and Duke vs Binghamton.

well so far i am undefeated in my bracket, and my final four right now is unc, louiseville, memphis, and ucla. if i can change my bracket with still alive teams i might change the ucla pick. i have to see how pitt plays.

and to add to that i picked the right four upsets so far:wku, tA&M, maryland,and michigan. and i dont have any of them getting out of second round, but marquette had me nervous because i had them beating missouri.

No...I don't. There are other sports I like other than Basketball and I know that there is hockey of sorts in the Carolina's along with football and baseball. I just don't get bent out of shape about college basketball. I wont knock you guys for it though...I was poking some fun at you more than anything....

ucla is out but three of mine are still alive and i have 8 losses overall, with 10 guaranteed because of ucla's early exit. i dont understand wisconsin, they usually are not good as a low seed in the tourney. oh well my elite eight were these

now a local story

i have a serious sunburn that is now swollen me up from the cards/nats spring training game i was at in melbourne(fl) yesterday and what a game that was the cards were up 12-1 and they ended up winning 12-11. but that wasnt the only thing. i was in area 201, and sitting in row 6, one behind this outrageously annoying cubs fans, she tried to be as loud as she possibly could in the cards section, throwing out all kinds of insults at the players and rooting for the nats players like crazy and singing out their names like that jose guy or whoever. we had some balls thrown our way and she should have been hit by one,jk, but seriously. it came to the point where me and my brother in law had to go over to the nats section where we could look closer at the players playing, where we saw there were a good number of cards fans sitting at. we didnt want to have to endure that woman gloating about a nats comeback win, so we had better luck once we left.

next time we go to a game i will want to sit where the sun isnt at, or bring lots of sunscreen,lol.

what a joke the mavericks have become. and its sad that some of their fans want dirk nowitzki, their star player, traded because they think some players like james singleton and ryan hollins will be beneficial in the long run for this team without him. imo, noone wants to dump on rick carlisle, they think he is better than avery johnson. avery wouldnt allow this record that is happening. he took this team to the finals and the refs were the ones that screwed dallas that year just to hype up one of their favorites, duane wade. its just a sad thing to see how this team just fell apart. i am one of the few realistic nba fans that should never take anything for granted, and to realize what you had. but some mavs fans out there dont like to be told that they dont know what they got until its gone.

dirk's poor play lately has a lot to do with the season being virtually over(lal in first round=quick exit). since next year will be an east year again, i hope dallas trades dirk to a east contender, i will take cleveland or miami....or orlando. see what he does when he has players around him. if the fans think that dallas will get the upper hand on dirk if he is traded, then they are truly mistaken. :mad:

Talked with my son today and he also got tickets for the Finals. He thinks that UNC will still be playing and if not, as long as Michigan State is in it, he will be able to sell them. my granddaughter is a junior at UNC and this will probably be her last chance to see them advance this far.
