Thanks Giangino,

Do you know who the driver was?

I am encouraged that Grifone's programme seems to be quite serious with the involvement of Auriol and tests on gravel and tarmac. I trust that they will have developed the base car well for European roads.

I really hope the register for IRC and become regulars!

yes, great video.
The Corolla looks and sounds impressive.
Let's hope Auriol has a program with it this season.

Awesome (y), I hope we will see this car a lot this year and I also hope it will be replaced by the Auris, as soon as it is homologated. The Auris would be a lot more interesting for local importers to support.

Corolla is evidently on too long gearbox. As I remember it has only medium and long gearbox and no short one generaly used on tarmac by other cars.

Not 100% but ..... I think Auriol will drive Punto....

Surely its cost a lot of €'s to develop this car by Grifone, so I wonder if there is any input from Toyota unnoficially to see how it does before they make a decision whether to return or not to the WRC

Toyota's support isn't going to be with Grifone.

Link Grifone homepage (that are in bad need of a makeover...) http://www.grifone.it/

Not much Toyota to find on that one. From a distance it looks like they ditched the Corolla in favour of the Punto.

The sensible approach would be like Rene Georges Rally Sport is doing it, getting cars from RSA, and be sort of the european arm, like RED planned to do.
But if anyone are thinking of doing anything with Toyota, they need to focus on the Auris. No car-importers would support a model they no longer sells.

If a team has serious interest would contact the RSA Castrol Toyota team, or TRD in Australia and get start checking for a deal !

I hope they are just waiting for the Auris to come out!

There are two Auris' running in Australia.http://www.s2000rally.com/car-list.php?car=15&team=&plate=&nat=&bt-search=Search

And two being prepared in South Africa, but I am not sure about the status of FIA Homologation, does anyone know ?

Sulland, the Auris in Australia have a special homolation, they can run international events in their region and don't have to make as many kits.

I don't think the Auris in Australia has anything to do with the one in SA,but I'm not sure.

the Fabia could eat that toyota anytime, just look at acceleration and torque after tight corners, no chance for the corolla

I would wait with any judgement after some real rally ;)

Think they bought them from Aus.

Is Grifone planning on using the Corolla more, or are they selling it ?

The Aus Auris and SA Auris have very little in common. SA doing its own development....

How to buy UGG sheepskin boots?Everyone who wear the UGG sheepskin boots will get many benefits. UGG boots are made to be worn barefoot as they will form to your feet and provide natural arch support. When buying a pair of sheepskin boots or ugg boots (premier brand in luxury and comfort footwear), there are many things to look for:First of all, you must make sure your sheepskin boots are actually made out of 100% authentic sheep skin. Some manufacturers use cheap substitutes such as gluing synthetic wool on to cow hide. These imitation sheepskin boots come at a cheaper price tag, but unfortunately the less expensive alternatives may cause skin irritations, encourage bacteria growth, wear down, tear quickly and noticeably less comfortable. http://www.shoppingugg.com When buying sheepskin boots, make sure they are manufactured from quality Australian Merino wool. Australian Merino sheepskin boots are considered the best material for making sheepskin boots and it also ensures that you will be able to use them for many years. Authentic wool also allows your feet to breathe and help reduce feet sweating. Merino sheep skin is by and large thicker and much more durable than other kinds of sheep skin, which helps your boots keep their shape as well as resist wear and tear. By purchasing sheepskin boots made from merino wool and sheep skin, you will be guaranteed that not only will they be the most comfortable pair of sheepskin boots you'll ever own, but they will also last for a long time to come. I have included some links if you would like to learn more about sheepskin boots or youwant to know where can buy some UGG Boots - Australia markets the premier brand in luxury and comfort. Their many products fit into your every day life offering you products that are fashionable, comfortable, and attainable.Ugg Boots have been made and worn in Australia/China for over 50 years and "Ugg" is not associated with any brand or style of sheepskin boot.
