We know some of the principals in the ChampCar series listened in here and the CCF forums either personally or through proxies. Witness the Speedbump logos on the cars and some other things as proof of that. But does anyone know where the IRL folks listen in to the fan's voice? Or if they do at all? Any indications over they years on how they have their ear to the ground?

I don't know for sure but I decided to sign into the IndyCar web site yesterday to watch the press conference live. So I signed up with a screen name to talk on their forum. Maybe that is their ear to the ground. AS an ex-CCWS official as of last week, I had never visited their site for anything other than results.

You're not alone dataman. I signed up there yesterday too, after watching the driver and team principle's post press conference interviews. I'm sure allot of people will take a trip over there to see what's going on.

IMHO part of the mistake CCWS made was, listening to the forums... they are not a good gauge of the pulse of america... if anything us in the forums have blinders when it comes to the business of racing...

A good part of the forum fans are "yes men" and ostriches...
