None could match the speed of Salo in Laukaa. It would be absolutely fantastic to see that guy in WRC someday. (maybe in NORF... :D )

Does the guy have to face the same kind of problem Puhakka had ten years ago? I mean management! I saw Salo rallying 4 or 5 times and I have to say he impressed me a lot!

I think Puhakkas problem was that he had a too big head and it seems not to have shrinken by now either.
I think in Jyväskylä there will be a hell of GrN entry now when they drive the PWRC too. Next year it would be nice to see Salo or Ketomäki in PWRC too.

Yes, in 2005 Salo won the group N championship, Hanninen was second, 2006 Ketomaa won the cup, Hanninen was second, Salo third.

Last snow event of 2008 this coming weekend 7-8.3. in Tahko Ski Center area in Nilsiä in Eastern Finland. Action starts friday evening with a SSstage on ice just in front of the skislopes. Rally proper on saturday. There should be plenty of snow and challenging roads as well.

Let's hope that Mikkonen has finally gotten all parts for his 206WRC and that Tuohino will get a trouble free run finally in the Subaru as well as the Skoda boys. Also hope that others can match Salo's speed better in gr.N than they have so far this year. I think Ketomaa, Nikara, Katajamäki and Rantanen will be the ones who can, if anyone.

He could drive only one stage without problems. Tuohino was VERY disappointed at finish, it is possible that it was the last rally with Korda's Subaru.

It's interesting, that the press releases of Korda Team saying, that they lost due to some minor driver error and that Janne hit something after a jump and that caused the gearbox failure...
They countinously had gearbox problems the whole championship last year, so no big surprise :(
I hope their next run will be more successful!

We don´t have S1600 cars in Finland, so there is only under and over 1400cc classes in FC. Aaron Burkart was driving in Kerava with C2 S1600 in WRC class...
Next year we have only 2 classes in FC
-big N / S2000
-little n / R2 / R3
You can drive with WRC also, but you have to start after everybody in those 2 classes above.

Well Juha Salo predicted that GrN cars will be really close to WRC machinery, but i somehow have doubts about it. Sordo is quite good on gravel these days, not sure about other WRC crews pace.

GrN machinery has better roadpositions, I think that´s what Salo means.
Sordo should win over 1.30min... total distance of ss is 96km and he must be 1s/km faster than others!

Aki is working with TEIN-suspensions, he has Evo9 and drives test all the time, but he is not driving races except 0-car sometimes.
