WHY CAN'T I WRITE IN CAPITALS ANYMORE? IT CHANGES TO TITLE CASE INSTEAD. I KNOW IT'S CLASSED AS SHOUTING BUT I LIKE SHOUTING :D :p :

EDIT: How come it let me do capitals then but not before when I've used them?

all caps are not allowed in titles because they look rubbish!

I agree with you wholeheartedly about being in titles but this was in a thread. It's just I tend to use them because I can never remember how to get italics and can't be bothered reading how to do it again. Don't care really but was kinda interested in how and why it was done :D

I have to agree, while writing in lowercase is seen as a polite person.

Lower case lettering is easier to read because words have a 'shape' and your mind recognises that before you actually read the letters, whereas ALL CAPS don't have a shape, they are just square.

That's the reason why road signs use lower case letters even though you would imagine all captials would be easier to read at speed.

True, the new logo Animal Planet going worse for the all justified caps.

However there is still road sign using caps like this.

Most roads signs are in capitals.....

But STOP signs aren't most signs because most signs are other signs....I think :p :

To be honest I haven't a clue why I said that :p I thought of a few signs and they all have capitals :p
