Bumping this as it time to begin the events.

PM me your fastest race lap by Saturday 1000AM GMT and then I'll post further instructions here.

Track is Brandsa Hatch Indy in a UK Formula Ford.

ohhhhh.... my girlfriend's not going to like this!

I'm already running my clio race this weekend and practicing for the V8 race too!

I'm afraid I won't be able to practice at the Festival the way I want to, but I'll run it.

completely open set up, I'm assuming. with no flags on. just keep two wheels on the track.

can we use time trial mode?

You may as well use Free Race mode - time trial has a very strict corner cutting system on it.

OK, here are the race details

As above, PM me your fastest race lap by Saturday 1000AM GMT. This will decide which one of two heats you are entered for. (1-3-5-7 etc fastest in 1, 2-4-6-8 etc in 2)

You will then have until Sunday Noon to complete your heat race.

The top 50% of the field, or 6 cars, whichever is more, will be entered to the Final, for which the deadline is Monday 8PM GMT, when I will then post the result of the Festival.

The bottom 50% of the field, in other words, those not included in the final will compete in a playoff race with the same deadline to decide the placings.

12 laps of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit for the heats. Should take about 8 minutes I guess.

Final will be 22 laps and roughly 15 minutes long.

I'm in, had trouble with my internet connection, so only just read this, but, if I am in time, I will give it a go.
Monkeyboy Racing Team is looking forward to the challenge.

One problem. Is Brands Hatch even available for Formula Ford if you haven't unlocked the bonus championships? :s

real_illusions

http://www.bhmotorsports.com/file/13114

Download this,

C:/ ==> Program Files ==> Codemasters ==> Race Driver ==> savedata

In this folder copy and paste the downloaded file and name it Profile00X.sav

Replace X with the number after the numbe of profiles you already have.

So for most people, name it Profile002.sav

It will then appear when you load TRD3 the next time as a save.

Load this and you will have all cars/tracks/championships/cheats unlocked ;)

:erm: errm does this only work on the PC version of the game?

yeah. anyone know where to unlock this track on a PS2?

or are you not going to tell me because you know how fast I am in open wheelers and you're scared I'll kick all y'all's asses? :burnout:

DOH ! I also have PS2 and have not yet unlocked it. I doubt if there are any bonus codes to unlock it, as every PS2 disk for TRD3 has it's own code, so, what works for one disc, is useless for another disc. Oh well, I will try to unlock it by racing, it's gonna be a long day.

Just download a cheat generator.

Not many entries for this, well, none so far. I'll extend the deadline for the heats to the end of the week, and then give up!

Alfa Fan

Given up! Unless anyone still wants to do it!
