From one crisis to another and possibly another - what if the current "situation" between the UK and Argentina escalates (lets hope it doesn't). But I would imagine the equipment and cars are enroute to Mexico by now, and they will got over to Argentina from Mexico. So if things kick off then possible no Rally and a knock on affect to NZ?

From the beginning of this year ”Vauhdin maailma” started an article series called classic race (rally) cars. In the latest issue was the Mitsubishi Galant VR-4.
The Evo1 was introduced in 1989 and in that time a 40 mm restrictor was in use. In 1989 the car had 350 hp and a weight of 1460 kg. In the last rallies with a 40 mm restrictor the car had 393 hp with 1,7 bar boost. The weight of the car was also decreased significantly during it’s “career” from 1989 to the end of 1992: from 1460 kg to 1217 kg.
I remember reading from VM in those days that the A group cars rumoured to have above 400 hp. The restrictor downsizing started from the beginning of 1992 when the restrictor size was 38 mm, 1994 36 mm and finally 1995 34 mm.
