Well looks like Nasser and Patrick are already winners in the livery race (so far)! Can't wait for the rally to start properly now.

Apparently it will be Finish company Filmworks that will make the TV-images for Rally Sweden and will make it available for all party's abroad. All this according to rallye-magazine.de.
Good news after all.

Really good news that some one will do some filming for television.Pity that the rally organisers have had to organise this them selves. How much money is Quatar throwing at Citroen ?

Next question is, can the rest of the events afford these kind of TV arrangements. And by the sound of it, propably not. Even the Swedes are playing a bit of hardball by going for it.
Olsson has bravely gone ahead with a full TV production from Sweden, though he does not have the money to cover it. He's looking for support from all sides.
He says it is impossible for each promoter to do an individual TV deal themselves: it won't produce the product the teams and organisers want.

If Rally Sweden canīt get paid for the TV-production covering the costs, then we canīt expect to see any TV-coverage at all in the future.
Anyone wondered how much money FIA have on banking accounts? I think it is well enough to fund the media part in WRC for a time on."Race was bad, but car was good"

Recceing in Norway today. A total of appr. 120 km SS-disance will be run on norwegian stages during friday. Conditions are absolutely perfect, as they were during Rally Finnskog last saturday. A thick ice layer on the roads, not very high snowbanks, but still enough to use as a "support" in some corners. Rally Finnskog was run in the same area as they will be using coming friday, but of course not on the same roads. There will be a TV-broadcast from Finnskog this evening on Viasat in Norway, and you will also be able to click into Injection.no - bilsportens nett tv - bilsport - rally - rallycross - bakkeløp - racing - gokart - Velkommen to wiew it tonight.

It’s almost warm in the Värmland! - Quote: And the nearer we got to Karlstad, the warmer it became, with our in-car thermometer hesitating between -3°C and -2°C.
