A BTCC Video Game?
If there was to be a full-fledge BTCC video game, what would you think of it?
I would like it to have classic cars, and to go all the way to the current season.
What do all of you make of a BTCC game; a great idea isn't it? What are the possibilities of one?

The closest you can get to driving a BTCC car now on a game is to tune up a car on Forza and then buy the BTCC livery for it.

The best was and still Toca 2 for PS2

The mods for Race 07 were very good too.

TOCA 2 was very tricky to drive with keyboard, very twitchy. Was better with a steering wheel, but it was still not the easiest.

I'm sure they still are. As a matter of fact, I actually have tried downloading them for PC from sites that offer TOCA downloads, but that did not work.
However, I will point out one good game that you can play on your browser.
It features F1, BTCC, DTM, ChampCar, anything you can dream of. I would recommend going there for FREE tin-top action in your browser!
www.batracer.com It is incredible, I highly, highly recommend it.

BATRACER is just frustrating. No matter what I do with my sliders I end up having bad luck!

I'm with you Jon Brow, Batracer is just too time consuming and irritating. Seems like you need to pay for the extras before your car is successful.

So I guess both of you no longer play it, but used to?

Well, I've actually enjoyed it, and have won a few championships.

...but back to the original idea, if there was to be an all-new BTCC game that is to soon hit the market, what would you want it to include, or what would you prefer it be like? Simulation, realistic?
That's what I was originally wanting to know...

A BTCC version of Forza 4 would be brilliant IMO. Realisitic but still easy enough to pick up and play

Its a shame not many people play the WTCC race series of games as I think they are brilliant with great handling and sound effects. My motorsport pics here on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/allyc85/sets/
