oh okay thanks..... by any chance if you have time would you be able to make this car for cmr2 because I dont think one was ever modeled for the game. Sorry to disappoint you, this Impreza is not in my near future plan. I want to make more new 3D models, f.ex. Mini WRC for now, but Subaru isn´t in my focus.

no problem! I understand, its really great what you're doing by introducing the new WRC cars to the game, I really thought everyone forgot about cmr2 but thanks to guys like you the game will live on

, question though...... is it possible to change the rims on a specific car? f.ex. the s14 Impreza WRC ?

You can change shape of rims for every car in 3D model. Gravel rims are in main 3D file *a1N.c3d, snow rims are in *a1S.c3d and tarmac rims are in *a1L.c3d.
Color of rims is comming from graphic package *a1.bfl , there are files *lwhdf.dds for tarmac and *nwhdf.dds for gravel/snow.

thanks! but can you replace rims of cars to make it easier? like put the rims of the Ford Focus on the SX4?

It's not just like copy/paste stuff. Everything is chained by 3Dmesh-mapping-textures. But anyway, send me PM what exactly you need, I'll take a look on it.

I would like to keep new skins for my 3D models under control a bit. So if you would like to make a new skin for Fiesta RS WRC, please send me an e-mail. I will provide you the template textures then.
Your starting project could be presented here at Work in progress section. If other guys will know what is going on, it helps to avoid the useless work on the same skin. After all, I will add a link to your finished skin on my webpage as well

web is borning now. You can go to the Download site and continue to the skins archive. I will continuously add more skins for my 3D models, made by other authors. Archive is comming with some Ford Fiesta RS WRC and Peugeot 207 S2000 skins for now.

Next of new WRC car is done. I have finished 3D model and skin for 2012 version Mini Cooper WRC - D.Sordo, Rally de Portugal 2012. So please go to the Download section on my website and check it out. I want to make the 2011 version with more skins as well, also the S2000 model will be probably the next step.
