I'm used to driving the Volvo so I don't mind using it on this round. Looking forward to getting this started.

Could we not follow the BTCC points system? 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1?
2nd place in the big quizz challenge!

Hence why one would possess an unfair advantage

Yeah but only in the way the Nissan is great at Silverstone, and a few other good car/circuit combinations!

The Renault is about 2 seconds a lap faster than the Vauxhall here

I'm glad I don't have the Peageot though. That thing is about 3mph slower round the back of the circuit than the Renault

Finished my races in the Volvo. Not a bad car by any standards. My setup was: long 6th gear, +3 downforce, suspension default (stiff susp. creates problems at the final chicane).

Race 1 went well right up until the very last bend. I lost a second on lap 3 by slightly wide onto the gravel at turn 2. That meant cars were up my arse for the remainder of the race. Running 5th into the last corner, David Leslie hit my backside and forced me into the barriers, dropping me way down the order and costing me about 7 or 8 seconds.

Race 2 was fairly OK. I only managed 12th on the grid in quali after I ran off in the session. Any chances of finishing in a good race position were ruined from the beginning. Into turn 3, an Audi spun in front of me. I took to the grass in avoiding action and, although I only lost a few seconds, the field had got away up the road. So, I settled in position and managed to punch in consistent lap times. Unfortunately, it was a sour end. On the final lap, I was pushing for a new personal best (or at least somewhere to equal the one I set) and I ended up getting sideways and spinning off. I lost around 5 seconds.

But, nonetheless, it was a good race and I hope I've not fared too badly against the competition.

I'm running zero downforce here as I was in the practice rounds at Brands.
