When the entry list is already confirmed by FIA the only way to change the class is through an exception from FIA.

He startet with WRC and had to change to R5 because of too few WRC-cars at M-Sport.

Just noticed Ogier hasn't won a gravel rally this year, reckon he'll do that in GB though. Think the battle will be Ogier-Latvala porperly for the first time this year, JM loves the rally and if he keeps the car on the road he's always on the pace.

Big couple of rallies coming up for Latvala if he wants to get his mojo back ahead of 2017. Not that it will propel him to a title or anything. He just needs to save some face. I guess he could end up with #3 on the door of his Polo next year?

In Finland he entered first in WRC, then started in R5. But admittedly, can't recall at which point this change was made, before or after entries closed.

So anyone looked at long term forcast for us on WRGB yet? Can't be as bad as last year surely.

I read that Evans R5 was 'just to get an entry in' so he had a place ( plus as BRC Champion he got free entry..)

The car type was to be dependent on what M-Sport had available.

I cant see him being denied the WRC drive if the car is there...

So if it rains does that count out Hyundai
After an under-steering front and a tail happy rear in slippy conditions (finland) it could be VW domination
