    Good for you Bill. Glad you won't prostitute and embarass yourself like Dale Jarrett.

    I wish NASCAR would do away with the champions provisional, it being so abused.

    Red Bull in it for the long run: Team Red Bull [#83-Vickers, #84-Allmendinger] director of competition Guenther Steiner reassured me [Yahoo Sports Bob Margolis] this weekend that despite his team's difficult entry into Nextel Cup competition, they were "in it for the long run.     yes, good for bill. good on nascar for limiting the provisional too.

    I don't see it being abused here, just using it as it was meant, and a lot less than either Richard Petty or Darryl Waltrip did in their last couple of years. Due to the situation of the 'top 35' qualifing mid pack generally isn't enough to get in now.
