So the end of an era for the venerable old Pug 207 S2000 ... its been outclassed for a while but always kept the likes of Breen in with a chance against the newer machinery...

    Fairwell and thanks !

    Re: [ERC] Rally Liep?ja 2014 (31.1.-1.2. 2014)

Lappi did what he was supposed to do. I think he was surprised about Gryazin's pace also. For sure the driver of the rally is the young Russian. Very curious to see his pace on next events.

I'm a little bit surprised about the attitude that no sense to drive a rally like this 'cause the conditions are not the same for everyone. C'mon, that's part of rally! I guess there was a chance for everyone to do their best at qualifying stage and thereby had a chance to do something with their starting position. Playing tactics and using the brains is part of rally also. Winners find a way, losers find excuses.

Very impressed about Cerny! He knocked out the northern boys on their familiar surface. It won't be easy for them to try to beat Cerny on tarmac. The concept of the Junior ERC looks working well, good set of fast young drivers from different countries and different cars. What else can you want?

Lappi has showed he´s a coming driver. Not layed back as some of us thought he´d be after contract with Skoda. He impressed very much. Next year we want him in WRC.
