Neath Valley Stages 2013

Thinking of heading up to the Neath Valley Stages this weekend, and was wondering if anyone knew some good spots in Rheola, as ive only done that stage once at Rally GB in 2007!

Well in the end it was a good days rallying, but nothing great. Rheola was very over grown so made it very hard to find a decent spot. One place from junction 9 to 10 was stupidly fast and steep, but unless you were completely insane there wasnt really anywhere to watch. Still McCormack, Elliot and a few others were brilliant to watch, and it was great to see and hear Steve Perez in the Datsun for the first time.

Think my next rally will be the Promenade stages where Matt Lewis will debut the F2 Escort he has built. If not it will be Rally GB!

Prom stages is a fair trek mate, and doesn't really look worth it this year. You'll see the F2 Escort over epynt next year.

Not doing the Mewla later in the month? That will be my first rally since the Somerset Stages and probably my last until the Wyedean

I would love to do the Mewla, but it clashes with a mates birthday and he hates rallying with a passion so I expect I will have to give it a miss

Im not %100 on the Prom stages. It would be nice to see the cars debut as ive followed its build since it started, but as you say Luke, it is a very long way!
