I've been last year in Almancil. This year we go also to the same hotel (cheap, nice, good breakfast). It is not so far to Stadium (service Park) and to shakedown.

I'm have booked a room from hotel Stella Maris (Albufeira) with my girlfriend. Hopefully some rally tourist there also. Also I have Avis car ( Polo or same kind ) to all 8 days. If someone needs ride I think we have room in our car

If someone is looking for a hirecar, I would recommend Algarve Car Hire | Faro Airport Lagos Rent a Car Rental, Hire Algarve | LUZCAR.
Reliable, and much cheaper than major rental companies such as Avis, Hertz or Europcar.
Just don't search for a counter in the Faro airport terminal.
Their 'office' is either a desk in the airport terminal cafe or a van at the carpark.
Also very easy to use, their depot is the airport carpark, as with the major brands you first need a shuttle to bring you to their deport often a couple of kms from the airport.
Used it for the last two years, will do it again this year
