Sainz says goodbye to any chance of win. He is losing almost 40' at WP5 after stopping before WP4.

What a drive from Barreda in moto ! He won by 8'40 on Pain and 17' on Despres ! Now both Yamaha France drivers leads the race, Pain ahead of Casteu. Despres only KTM driver in Top 5 is 3rd, and then we find Barreda and Viladoms for Husqvarna.

In auto really nice stage from Chicherit who finished second 30" after Al Attiyah with SMG Buggy. Peterhansel is still leading the race, he finished 3rd at 1'17. Sainz is breaking down. He is taken oil from a moto driver who is injured. Lucio Alvarez lost more than a hour, I saw him stuck.

A lot of changes in trucks too. Both in stage and overall. Big attack from Kamaz today but it's Aleš Loprais who takes thin overall lead despite being only 6th today

Lithuanians Vanagas/Jurgelėnas #458 today have finished without rollovers (there was two rollovers in stage 2 and 3). But they now are using the acrylic glass instead of windscreen. also there is some holes in body of the car so it isnt very 'hermetic'. The photo taken after the day 4 special stage finish: Facebook com/photo.php?fbid=430031413729174&set=a.1541337079856 14.36304.144580042274314
    They've started from 121th, finished 74th.

Loprais said he did last 100 km yesterday with broken front dampers which caused him to drive more carefully because he had no quick assistance on stage.

Minutes ago Sainz tweeted a nice photo of the start of stage. I feel he will end this Dakar being the second in the classification of car stage winners of all history.
