Insomnia roused us at an early hour to do a handful of practice laps here, and what a fun little circuit this is! It's like a 1/2 scale version of Spa Francorchamps with less elevation. Couple of tricky apexes, but not very demanding otherwise.
Hoping to redeem our poor showing in this series to date with a good finish here..

I won't be doing this round because I'm rubbish at this type of track in these cars.
It's been an interesting series anyway Peter even if I haven't been successful at all in it. I may be back for a whole series if you run it again.Tazio 14/3/2015: I'll give every member on this forum 1,000.00 USD if McLaren fails to podium this season!

Well, I've done my final race of the season.
Incidents: Reasonably uneventful race. Passed James Courtney with a fairly aggressive move into Turn 4 (unlike that wee sod Rick Kelly, my move was deemed fair) and pulled away from there. Pitted on lap 10 and rejoined in 4th. Tootled along nicely waiting for the 3 drivers in front to stop.I went on to win the race by a handsome margin (no giveaways about any of my times yet) from Jason Richards, Russell Ingall and James Courtney. Looking forward to returning in 2007!Michael \"Beef\" Park 1966 - 2005 RIP

Re Results Rd 13 Phillip Is.
Eight drivers turned up for the last Rd of the V8's for the season at Phillip Is. It marked the debut for Lugnut in the series & he performed very well. Here is how Qualifying panned out:
Qualifying:
1.P.Vuko 1m.10.01
2.S.Vuko 1m.10.35
3.BobZee 1m.10.71
4.Lugnut 1m.10.77
5.real_ill 1m.12.18
6.dcr22B 1m.12.50
7.c8nay 1m.13.44
8.tannat 1m.14,17
The top 4 very close & splitting the field into two groups. The 20 lap race proved to be a very close affair with less than a second separating 1st & 2nd. Results up in 5 minutes.WINNER: *V8 Supercar 2006,2007 *DTM 2006,Runner Up 2007 *BTCC 2006 *Clio 2006/7 *RoC 2006 *GT's 2006
I admire your will Mirek to argue with the windmills here.
