Welcome to the new server
Welcome to the new server.
We've just migrated to a new webserver. For the past year we've been on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) which is a virtual machine on a shared physical machine. But I had the opportunity to move to a proper dedicated server which gives us significantly improved memory, processors and bandwidth. Also for the first time the forums are on their own server, not controlled by anyone else
For those interested in such things:
Old Server: 3 cores, 3GB RAM, 75GB disk space
New Server: 4 cores, 16Gb RAM, 2TB disk spacePlease 'like' our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/motorsportforums

Nah just ordinary disks, it's not an expensive server, part of the reason for switching is that we got increased performance for less money.
