there were loads of comments when it was first announced...around 456 b.c
...but ok you can be happy now as well.

So this is basically giving the drivers back what they had in the 90's where the nominate their starting road position for the day ahead?
I know Rally Australia used to be run that way, but I cant recall if other rallys were too.

Does RMC not have a Qualifying Stage? It worked well in IRC. According to this the first will be in Sweden-
"The first Qualifying Stage of the season will take place on Rally Sweden with organisers planning to use the 1.9-kilometre Super Special Stage Karlstad on Thursday 9 February to determine the starting order for day one."

Thanks Leon, I should read more carefully. Having said that the weather will always be a factor on RMC.
At 19:15 Saturday, the FIA are announcing a new WRC event for 2025 at Sardegna. The event, I don't know - perhaps Paraguay.
