Seriously, they suck now compared to the first couple of albums.

MOR dance music, chuck in a few beat to make sure its the Chems producing.

Prodigy and Underworld share similar influences with hip hop, house, techno, yet they make some sort of effort to sound contemporary and get down with the kids and still retain their sound.

I don't think the Chems have really crossed as many musical genres/boundaries as Underworld or The Prodigy - but they are still excellent at what they do.

Galvanize is a relatively recent Chems track and it hits the right notes. Horse Power from their latest effort is typically Chems, hasn't moved on too much, but it's still good.

See them live - they're second to none.

I've seen them live. My mate did the album artwork and support for tour visuals.

Better off going to an art installation. Personally there's nothing exciting about guys twiddling knobs behind a fancy background. Last I got excited by this was Leftfield and their massive soundsystem.

For me, the visuals ruin the show. You've people who aren't sure they should be dancing or stare at the visuals.

The same could be argued about seeing a rock band with no visuals - do you rave or watch them twang a small, stringed instrument?

Sounds like you've had your taste and moved on.
