Squab
Besides being one of my favourite episodes of Two and a Half Men, squab is one of those dishes that only snotty hotels and Heston Whatsit serve.
Anyone here ever eaten squab?
Reason I'm asking is that I binned one the other day after my dog caught it and a local farmer finished it off then we both decided it looked far too unpleasant to eat :"The Jaguar's going cheap"
"Shouldn't it be purring?"

Jeez Eki, that's a looker next to the one I saw
I had no idea they served them with the face on.
Even though I know meat comes with a face, that's just horrible!"The Jaguar's going cheap"
"Shouldn't it be purring?"

I like an educational thread, and I had to "do a wiki" on squab just to know what this was all about. I'm with GridGirl, if I was somewhere where the natives were grinningly tucking into this I'd at least give it a go... I think.
