Just before the season kicks off... NEW POINTS SYSTEM is introduced
It's confirmed now: as published this morning on WRC.com, there's a new type of points system. Now, the top-ten will be awarded, rather than the top-eight.
Points distribution are:
1st: 25 points
2nd: 18 points
3rd: 15 points
4th: 12 points
5th: 10 points
6th: 8 points
7th: 6 points
8th: 4 points
9th: 2 points
10th: 1 point
Also, the huge gap between 1st and 2nd makes us think the same intentions than in the point system introduced in F1 for this year: to try to push as much as possible for a win.
Here's the article from WRC.com: http://www.wrc.com/jsp/index.jsp?lnk...nts+allocation

Prehaps Zinebahe does exist after all!
The FIA made this championship for Sebastion Loeb.
The other drivers have no hope.

Why don't You continue where this issue is already discussed? Keeping two threads about the same topic is pointless.

Very nice system.....
If this race didn't appeal to them they should just quit watching the sport. From start to finish something was going on, and often at the front of the field.
