    R.I.P. Steve Snoddy

Steve Snoddy, an IMS Photographer who was also a local coach and teacher and a former board member of the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association, passed away yesterday.

Steve was a giant, working his art with all kinds of racers everywhere and starting a seminar program for race photographers. More importantly, he was recognized for his decency to everyone in the game.

    RIP, Steve....we'll miss you.

Steve was outstanding at his craft, and a great person. We have lost too many good people this year.

Like other members in the sport, photographers deserved to be included in tributes upon their passing.

    Thanks for remembering him.
