I have plenty of sense of humor, obviously different from yours.
But hey we are all different, luckily I shall say.

What an excellent, insightful thread this is thanks to the comments of the forum's two most reasonable, level-headed contributors.

Underestimate Loeb at your own peril.

The guy would come to F1 and likely make a few mistakes but has the ability to clean up. Make no mistake of that.

He has already shown pace and understanding while testing for RBR.

I think what we all must realise is that the drivers in F1 & WRC have the talent to be fairly competative in the other form of motorsport. The thing that makes the big difference is that fact that rally drivers are trained to react in particular ways to the what the car underneath them is doing (as are F1 drivers) and it becomes like a 6th sense for them. As this starts from a very young age by the time they become successful in their chosen area it is very hard to break those habits/reactions & learn the new ones relevent to the other disipline. This doesn't mean they can't be quick or competative but I don't believe we will ever see an F1 & WRC champion in the one person.
