Didn't something like this happen in Finland a few years ago? Maybe 05? Im thinking a Skoda got stuck trying to overtake a car blocking the stage. Might have been Paasonen trying to overtake Gigi I cant fully remember. I cant remember whether the stuck car got back out either, but there was certainly no notional times given.

It is part of rallying.
It has always ben that way in rally, it could be a cow, a damaged car, spectator, any reason.
Would you have given 8 seconds "return" to Loeb in Argentina 2006, when he has to slow down and turn to avoid a cow???Zeque

Yes but that occasion happened at low speed, trying to go around the car in ditch and passing car also dropped into ditch. There was no danger to life or limb there.

Tell me about it. As I watched those rally review DVDs from the past, at one time a spectator got so frustrated of a cancelled stage that he jumped on Ari Vatanen's Mitsubishi Galant's bonnet and kicked the windscreen in
