F1 rules change in a week - what about rally?
One maker leaves F1, and they change the rules in a week.
How come rallying has been trying to change the rules for god knows how many years with no progress.
What is the point of the FIA being the overseer of the wrc, if they don't care?

Maybe the FIA do care afterall, it seems to have been the teams holding up progress on the new WRCar rules.
Anyhow, there should be an announcement on Friday...

Autosport today reports the teams have finally come up with a package for 'S2000T' for about £25,000 which includes a turbo, an assisted gearshift mechanism, a rear wing and "a few other parts"
Should be confirmed Friday.
Good news.
Now they just need to get the promotion and the calendar right and the WRC could be on the road to recovery, providing the economic situation improves.
