Wild Cards Donington Park
James Ellison on the Hydrex Bike Animal Honda and the HM Plant duo of Cal Crutchlow and Leon Haslam Will race in next month's European round of the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park after receiving wild-card entrys.
2007 Motogp Pickems Champion,2009 BTCC Pickems Champion,
2011 F1 Pickems Champion,2012 Cup Scramble Champion

That'll be brilliant. From the sounds of it, Tom Sykes on the Rizla Suzuki was only budgeted for the one wildcard entry at Brands Hatch, but after his great performance I hope they find a way to race at Donny too.

Anyway, I think Ellison will be on a SBK spec bike, not sure if HM Plant will use SBK or BSB spec bikesI got my motorcycle jacket, but I'm walking all the time...

I Think you could be right,i've read it somewhere that ellison's team are planning to use a world superbike engine.

Not sure it'll matter either way, Sykes did quite well with his BSB spec bike.
Isn't it great to see competitive wildcards back again

Eugene Laverty will replace Fabien Foret at the Yamaha World Supersport Team for Donington and Vallelunga.
This is a good chance for Eugene at a track he knows to show what he can do with a top bike. It may help him get a WSS or SBK ride next season as his 250GP career doesnt seem to be going anywhereI got my motorcycle jacket, but I'm walking all the time...
