Especially from all the stories my dad tells me about the escorts etc. He even has a couple of stories of Pentti :P Like how he insisted on having tubes in the tyres, and how the mags were painted. The tyres kept slipping on the paint causing the valve to break deflating the tyres. My dad had to work through the night replacing all the tyres :P (Story goes along the lines of something like that.. dunno if it was paint on the wheels, but it was something causing the tyres to slip.)
Anyways best livery for me would have to be the Subarus. Its just to reckonisable. I also liked the old works SEAT's.
The mitsubishis in 2000 i think it was where they had the names on the bonnet and rear bumper.http://gallery.dingardo.geek.nz/ - Rally Photos

I agree with you there Dingardo, the Subaru livery is very well known worldwide, even by the non rally fan after the 13 years with the blue and yellow 555 colours. And they even kept the colours when BAT stopped their sponsorship for some years...for easy Subaru recognition I suppose!
Found these pics of the Scoobs of yesteryear and how they have evolved...

Incredible. The car looks so much better with the livery.
Give Leon a kick and tell him to get to work!
