CMR2 BRC Round 5 - Wales Rally GB
CMR2 BRC Round 5 - Wales Rally GB
Moment of truth, the 5th and final round of the CMR2 British Rally Championship!
No less than 3 drivers stand an actual chance of wining the BRC, and noone in the top 6 have secured their final position yet, do not miss the final showdown, this is how we do it:
This rally is different from the previous rounds of the BRC, as the individual positions gained by the BRC drivers competing the Wales Rally GB World Championship hosted by jso1985, will decide the outcome of the BRC class.
This also means that you don't have to mail me your timecards!
The official Wales Rally GB thread is here:
http://www.rallyforum.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=123227
You can only score BRC points if you have competed in any of the previous BRC 2007 rounds, eligible drivers are:
Ramore (Bulgaria)
Cyborg_hun (Hungary)
Exhausted (Denmark)
Rat (Australia)
Will (England)
Juha (Belgium)
Matt Rudd (England)
Jso1985 (Bolivia)
Crutts (England)

What is the CMR2 British Rally Championship?
This Colin McRae Rally 2 championship is just like the CMR2 WC hosted by jso1985, the only difference is that it follows the the calendar of the British Rally Championship, the races are shorter, and the point scale is closer, so that you will still hold a chance of a podium finish should you miss a rally or two.

This championship will follow the calendar of the "real" BRC, with 2 exeptions as the Ulster International, and the International Rally Yorkshire was in the same weekend as rounds of the WRC.

Ingame rally: France Expert level
19th - 20th / 21st July – Isle of Man International Rally

Ingame rally: France (M) Expert level

Ingame rally: Finland Expert level
30th Nov - 2nd Dec – Wales Rally GB **

** The Wales Rally GB round of the CMR2WC managed by jso1985, will also count as points for this championship, so that you don't have to drive that round twice (Thanks jso!).

Will Destroys Impreza In Shakedown - wrc3f.tk news
Munchis' Subaru's leading BRC driver Will crashed heavily in shakedown for the forthcoming British Rally Championship round in South Wales today.
The Impreza driver, 13, from Worcestershire, was shaken in the impact which saw the car take out 6 trees, after clipping a bank.
He has therefore decided to use a Ford Focus RS WRC of Francois Duval for this event, a 3 year old car in reserve for all of Will's events.
The accident happened around 11.45am this morning on the shakedown stage. The Impreza was going quickly, around 160km/h, when it came in too tight on a bend, clipped a bank, pitched into the air, taking out 6 trees. The car rolled 4 times in the air before crashing down onto the co-drivers side of the car and rolling again 3 times before it stopped after hitting a log.
Will's co-driver is said to be fine with no injuries after the off. The crew have now completed tests with the reserve Focus.
The Wales Rally GB starts this weekend.//waves

Well there goes 3rd place. Damn what a crap weekend. Wet, slippy and off at the slightest move off line. Hit everything in sight, trees, roundabout, trees, poles, trees etc.
On a good note though, it was a good competition and good company to rally against. Thanks all! Roll on 2008!
How would any of the proposed changes from this silly working group have changed ANY of that in 2025 or 2026?
