Big announcement next week?
Has anybody else heard rumours of a big WRC sponsorship announcement to be held next week in Abu Dhabi?

Ask Dave Richards.............
I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception.

Find that hard to believe, who'd want to sponsor a championship with diminishing returns. Hardly likely to be a 'Blue Chip' company.
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Probably Land Rover, wich will end up in only right steering Land Rovers on the stages next year.
Hope its not a company who will get monopoly on something that could decide something like that, but it seems everything in exchange for money is accepted.
Hope its only a company who only pump more money into the business and just wants a tiny sticker on the windscreen"if in doubt, flat out"

The championship will not have a title sponsor, unless the FIA do one of the biggest u-turns in history.

Probably a team, I hardly think there will be a new title sponsor for the WRC half way through the season.

I heard a team deal as well as funding into WRC itself.

Maybe the launch is a website that doesn't cost money to read.
When I go to WRC event, I want to see the best drivers as always. If I want to see some national drivers, I can go to some other less popular event.. Just simple.
