"The busy days are coming from Catalonia with the reflection and implementation of my 2019 program," said the winner of the last rally in Spain, and of course, there is the preparation of the Dakar that will come to great It's pretty simple to come back to my decision to take part in the 2019 Dakar Rallycross, I could not sleep with the jet lag, I was browsing the social networks and I am came across a MINI video that was preparing for the Dakar and I thought, "Well, it could be nice to go play with them and try to tickle them a bit!", but at that moment, I I did not doubt that Peugeot was also going to withdraw from the rallycross. When I heard the announcement of their withdrawal a few days later, I told myself that at least I will race in 2019! "
"Going there without any pressure, as private, with the sauce" Loeb-Elena ", really tempted me and motivated me, took again the nine times World Rally Champion. has not often been an outsider in my career and it's a feeling that I like for this adventure. We do not really set a goal.It is above all to please. had to have more resources, be it on the refurbishment of the new car every morning, the human resources, the logistical means, but we will still be well surrounded! At the level of preparation cons, we will inevitably leave with a disadvantage, without being able to ride in competition before the start, for lack of time.We will only make a few tries. Finally, the regulation does not allow a "top driver" to ride with the 3008 DKR Maxi this year I am not sure of being a "top driver" in rally raid but I did not have the right! So we will have the 3008 DKR of 2017. I have no idea what it will give against the MINI and the Toyota of 2018. "

Martin Prokop will have two cars in the team this time. Prokop with a new car and Ouředníček with Prokop's 2018 car.

RG in the Baja 1000 2018 - blew the engine in the trophy truck about half way through when running quite strongly (probably a good top ten finish was possible)
RG for Dakar Rally 2019 - the usual - probably paid an entry fee, but waiting for the full sponsorship budget to do the event before confirming shortly before the event start whether participation is going to happen. Entries closed for Dakar 2019 closed on the 1st of November 2018. Dakar organisers may have reserved numbers and expect to see a TBA (to be announced, advised etc) for the names/ vehicles when an entry list is posted.
RG possible in a (1,2,3?)small team of Textron OffRoad/ Arctic Cat UTVs, if the plan comes together.

Edit Robby Gordon was running both the trophy truck and a UTV in the Baja 1000. Infield communication is not great at the Baja 1000
The RG speed Trophy Truck finished 18th, had diff issues that needed to be fixed at 515 miles with Cole Potts driving. RG drove to 480 miles, was in 6th and 12 minutes down, before the handover at race mile 480.
The textron utvs (3) had issues and did not finish. from planet robby facebook

Loeb is not allowed to drive wide-body 3008? (or 5008)
but Harry Hunt is driving wide-body.
Why is that like this ?"quattro best 4wd rallycar ever"
A nice analysis from the rally: https://dirtfish.com/rally/wrc/what-we-learned-from-rally-italy-sardinia-2024/
