Forgive the ignorance Mirek, but we don't use a system of rules anything like homologation rules here. Can any team build a car for R5 or does it have to be sourced from a manufacturer? And in the case you listed above, is the chassis supplied by Skoda and the engine sourced separately?

Peugeot used to sell R5 cars also as a kit but others sell only complete cars. Anyway without works papers You can't legally use the car in FIA competition (on national level it depends on the local ASN decision). Otherwise what You can change/modify Yourself must always stay within the homologation - for example You can change damper internals to some extent or You can use own fuel maps if manufacturer allows that (I think M-Sport doesn't not).

Callum Black
Prices of R5’s dropping, as anticipated in light of the new models being released next year. I think you’ll get a Fiesta R5 evo2 for sub £100,000 come the end of the year.

Czech Polo R5 premiere on 1st December in Prague rallysprint. The driver's name is kind of public secret but please wait few day for it to be officially announced. It's part of bigger project for 2019.

Was expected, but Johan Kristoffersen will be doing an event or more this winter in the Polo R5 his family team now owns. Hopefully he does a few rounds next year in various series too.

Johan will do romjulsrally around Elverum 29. December.
Or "a double world champion in rallycross" as it says.
More likely he will test his polo R5 than Ekstrøm or petter do this rally.
Petter also has his hands on a polo, ekstrøm did fairly well in a EVO9 and a Fabia WRC some years ago, but don't know wich cars he has around these days.
