Pity Valais seemed to pass quietly this year; was a great privilege to spectate there a couple of years ago. Hope some good videos come out for it.
Edit: lots of good videos out there - that's my next half hour plus sorted!Last edited by dodge33cymru; 29th October 2017 at 20:39.

I was there to spectate this year. And I must say that I was quite disappointed. With going out of ERC/IRC, they have reduced the itinerary a lot. I know that they must have shorter distance of kms, but they have "killed" the most beautiful stages like Crans-Montana, Bruson or Verbier. Also stage with famous jump was changed. Instead of it they did 3 runs through same road with three different length of stages...
Also I was quite disappointed by the level of drivers. From foreign drivers on good level were only Abbring, Basso, Casier and Orsak. And of course Dumas with Porsche. From local drivers O.Burri, Carron and for me surprisingly fast Toedli. But from my older visits of this rally I have missed some good local drivers like Hirschi, Perroud, Gonon. Also level of 2WD was quite disappointment for me (especially to watch)...
