2017 Italian Grand Prix
Let's start the race thread shall we, first practice is out of the way already. Looks like a classic Monza two-by-two at the moment: Mercedes, then Ferrari, then Red Bull, then Force India. A bit more mixed up after that. McLaren were practicing slipstreaming and Alonso managed to pull Vandoorne to 9th on the timesheets.
I think if Mercedes don't take a 1-2 here, they'll be very disappointed.

prima-donna... shouldn't a driver know how to adapt to the weather? He only knows how to push the throttle to the floor?

this is pathetic by charlie and the FIA
we are missing the best window for qualy
soooooooooo frustrating!
what's the point of wet weather tires if you can't use them.
conditions are drying and the only reason we stopped was due to grosjean not coping with the conditions.
also, I am done with the mercedes safety car. it serves nobody as a measuring stick for F1 cars viability in the conditions
And for a while now, they are a bit too slow for the current f1 cars
They need to use a faster vehicle for safety car needs. an older lemans style car or modified F1 car.
You can still use that amg mercedes for medical/post crash needs and such. But a proper racing car would have informed them that the conditions were more than good enough to get qualy on.Last edited by truefan72; 2nd September 2017 at 13:39.

The TV coverage is reduced to showing replays of Vettel waving to the crowd.

I admire your will Mirek to argue with the windmills here.
