One make series in Europe
I don't post much in this forum so I hope this is on topic. The UK hasn't had a major one make series for some considerable number of years. I am interested to know what one make series are currently running elsewhere in Europe and the cost of a prepared vehicle for the series.

Here in Czech republic we have Opel Adam Cup and Peugeot 208 Cup.
Opel Adam Cup is being run with cup cars, i.e. rather cheap cars with stock 1.6 140Hp engine but sequential gearbox etc. It's also held on shorter events (mainly events from Rallysprint series plus sometimes one leg of selected major events).
Peugeot 208 Cup is run with R2 cars and is therefore more expensive. It's also being held on the events of the national championship which are two days long.
I can't tell You about the costs though.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

Thank you; that is interesting. How many entries is it attracting per event? Does somebody have a link to the technical regulation please? Is something similar running in other countries?

Opel Adam Cup is also run in Germany. Apart from Germans, it has some international entries - at least from Finland and Poland. I know nothing about the costs.

Here is the specification of the car (in German): https://www.opel-motorsport.com/rall...rzeug-technik/
Here in CZ it's being run by XTG Motorsport (in Czech): http://www.opel-motorsport.cz/
Usually there are around 6 cars per event but last year was better with some really good drivers (Kamenec, Tomaszczyk). In Germany it's around 20 crews. Don't know if this year Opel cup continues also in France where it was last year.Last edited by Mirek; 15th July 2017 at 01:35.

I think there's also a 208 cup in Hungary
But with quite a poor entry on it

There were plans for it, it was announced, but basically nobody entered. Instead, most of the 208s are used in the Rally2 championship. The situation is quite strange, as many of the crews who would enter don't have the money to compete in the ORB (that's why they're doing Rally2), but that's exactly where the cup is / would be. So either they bring down the cup to Rally2, or they scrap it next year, I think the latter is more likely unfortunately...
How would any of the proposed changes from this silly working group have changed ANY of that in 2025 or 2026?
